This afternoon, I held a Westminster Hall Debate in Parliament, which gave MPs the chance to debate and discuss the use of Stop and Search in the West Midlands.
This was timely given the Police and Crime Commissioner’s recent comments about overhauling the Stop and Search system in our region.
It was pleasure to be able to talk about all the fantastic work our local Police Officers in Sandwell do on a daily basis, together with the wider community. But there is, of course, always more we can do.
Thank you to all my colleagues who took the time to come along and speak up for their communities.
