Nicola attended Conservative Party Conference to discuss high-profile issues affecting communities in West Bromwich East and the wider West Midlands, as well as to meet with organisations working to invest in our area and improving outcomes for local people.
Speaking after the conference, Nicola said: "Conservative Party Conference is always a whirlwind and this year has been no different.
"I spoke in panel discussions about the importance of better cancer screening in our community with Breast Cancer Now and the danger of unchecked conspiracy theories with Antisemitism Policy Trust.
"I was also delighted to be joined by our Mayor, Andy Street, ministers, Terrence Higgins Trust and others in pledging to do all we can to end new cases of HIV by the end of the decade.
"One morning I even met Adrian Chiles to have a chat about what's happening at West Bromwich Albion and the importance of new investment to secure the future of our great community club.
"Whilst looking around the stalls in the exhibition hall, I also bumped into Enfinium who are investing in West Bromwich to build a new energy from waste plant. The £500m investment will build the new facility that will generate renewable electricity, enough for more than 95,000 homes every year."
