Half of us will get cancer at some point in our lives, and it will affect every single one of us either directly or indirectly.
It is vital that the government has a proper strategy for the future of cancer care that addresses the key issues. Such as ensuring people are diagnosed early, which is key to saving lives.
Working with Cancer Research UK and Breast Cancer Now, Nicola held a debate in Westminster Hall on the future of cancer care. She shared her own stories of losing her mother to Breast Cancer last year, and discussed why we must make sure the new Major Conditions Strategy includes a proper plan on cancer.
