The Football Governance Bill passed second reading in the House of Commons today.
Football is nothing without its fans, and for too long the football authorities have collectively been unable to support them in tackling some of the biggest issues in the game.
That is why this Conservative Government is creating a new Independent Regulator for English Football. As part of the new arrangements, fans will be guaranteed a greater say in our game.
Commenting on Facebook, Nicola said: "I'm proud to be supporting the introduction of a new football regulator that will help protect our historic football clubs, just like West Bromwich Albion.
All part of sweeping reforms that will stop a European Super League, give fans a greater voice in the way their clubs are run, and ensure that football is always for the fans."
