47 years of Labour control in Sandwell has done nothing but level down our communities in West Bromwich East.
So today, when the Council’s external auditors released a damning report which identified countless examples of neglect, wasting of public money and the shameful awarding of contracts, it came as little surprise to most people in Sandwell.
I raised this with the Prime Minister at PMQs this afternoon and he agreed with me that the people of West Bromwich, Friar Park and Great Barr deserve far better.
