Nicola Richards MP welcomed the news that a new regulator will be established to protect English football clubs, like West Bromwich Albion FC.
Speaking in Parliament, she asked the Sports Minister, Stuart Andrew MP, to meet with fans who have been so active in campaigning for our football club.
The regulator will oversee strengthened owners' and directors' test to make sure unscrupulous owners cannot buy and asset strip clubs.
It will also give fans a greater say in how clubs are run and on key heritage such as team names, badges and stadiums.
English clubs will also be blocked from joining any breakaway leagues like the European Super League.
