The Government has announced a £4.8 Billion Fund to help Level Up communities like ours in West Bromwich East as we hope to Build Back Better after the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced in his spending review this year that he was ringfencing a new fund to help with the Government's ambition to Level Up our communities. And it could be worth millions to us in West Bromwich East.
The £4.8 Billion Levelling Up Fund will invest in infrastructure that improves everyday life across the UK, including regenerating town centres and high streets, upgrading local transport, and investing in cultural and heritage assets.
And now I want to hear your views...
The fund is a unique opportunity for West Bromwich East to finally get shovel ready projects that will improve our communities. And I want to hear what you think we should be prioritising.
A new youth centre? Tackling congestion at the Scott Arms? Or more town centre regeneration? Now's your chance to let me know...
The Council will be putting in their bid in the coming months. And your advice will help us ensure that we get the best deal for our Town.
