Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Social Mobility, Youth and Progression, Mims Davies MP, visited West Bromwich to visit the Hallam Close development. The development will provide housing and employment opportunities with the NHS.
Speaking after the visit, Nicola said: "It was a pleasure to welcome Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Social Mobility, Youth and Progression, Mims Davies, to the constituency to see first-hand the fantastic Hallam Close development in West Bromwich.
"The development is a joint partnership between St Basils, Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust and Sandwell Council and will open in February next year. It will house young people who are looking to do paid apprenticeships within the NHS and brings former derelict buildings back into use.
"It's a fantastic project and I was delighted that Mims could come and take a look at it in development phase."
If you are between 16 and 24 years old and are interested in this scheme then more information can be found on the St Basils website.
