Working with the community to cut crime

Local crime and antisocial behaviour can have a huge impact on our communities. It is vital residents feel safe in their homes and on our streets.

As your MP, I am determined to work with our local police, authorities and residents to ensure West Bromwich East is a safe place for all of us.

The government is hiring 20,000 extra police officers across the country. Already, that’s meant an extra 628 officers for our local police in the West Midlands. Helping to make our streets safer.

And as we continue work to recruit more police, I want to hear what you feel the top priorities should be for tackling crime locally.

In West Bromwich East, it’s no secret that we’re having issues with crime. We need more action to tackle antisocial behaviour in our town centre, to prevent burglaries in Great Barr, and cut car crime in Wednesbury. But I need your input.
If we work together, we can cut crime in West Bromwich East. So why not tell me your priorities for tackling crime?

Please take a few moments to complete thebelowsurvey and share your views on crime and anti-social behaviour. And together, let’s make West Bromwich East an even better place to live.

A Safer Sandwell

People tell me that they are worried about crime. So, I'll fight to get our fair share of the new 20,000 Police Officers that will be delivered before the end of the Parliament. And I'll make sure that they don't all go to Birmingham.
